If you disagree or want to challenge a decision made by GISAID’s Compliance Department, you are given the opportunity to state the basis, or your challenge, and provide a detailed description of all events giving rise to the original compliance related action.
An appeal will be considered for review by the GISAID Compliance Board (GCB). If the GCB determines that the matter falls within the scope of its mandate, it will assess whether a substantive response is warranted.
You are encouraged to provide as much information as possible. A request for appeal that includes partial or incomplete information will cause significant processing delays.
After submitting your request for appeal, you will receive a confirmation email containing a link where you can upload documents or other relevant materials.
